Inside the April 2026 Cover Story of SWFL Business Magazine

The April 2026 edition of SWFL Business Magazine brings together three standout professionals from three very different industries, each making a lasting impact across Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, and Fort Myers.

Featured on this month’s front cover are Malcolm Gianella, Donna Rambo, and Richard Torres — three leaders whose work continues to shape business, relationships, and opportunity throughout Southwest Florida.

Captured on location at Bellasera Hotel, this cover represents more than a beautiful image. It reflects leadership, consistency, and the kind of professional influence that helps move our region forward.

Hospitality Leadership

Richard Torres represents the kind of leadership that turns hospitality into a true business advantage. As SWFL Area Director of Sales, Richard focuses on group bookings, corporate bookings, revenue growth, and client relationships while helping lead the sales efforts for multiple Hilton properties in Southwest Florida.

Born and raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Richard moved to the United States 11 years ago to pursue his dreams. His hospitality journey began at the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Centre, where he started as a breakfast attendant. Today, his role reflects years of hard work, growth, and dedication to the guest experience.

Richard currently serves as Director of Sales for HOME2 Suites by Hilton Naples I-75 Pine Ridge Road, HOME2 Suites by Hilton Fort Myers-Colonial, and Hampton Inn & Suites Fort Myers-Colonial. In this position, he is responsible for driving year-over-year revenue growth while building strong professional relationships throughout the market.

His philosophy is one that resonates far beyond the hotel industry:

“Hospitality transforms every interaction into a positive, memorable experience.”
